Lagos State Police Command has arrested an 18-year-old boy, Michael Ogbogu, for allegedly blackmailing a teenage girl using her nude pictures. Ogbogu was arrested on Wednesday, 11 September, 2024, after the 17-year-old victim’s family reported the incident. Olukayode Ojo, a 36-year-old Nigerian pilot, is facing a potential five-year prison sentence in Texas, United States, after being found guilty of making false statements to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to obtain a certificate. Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, designer of Nigeria’s national flag has been laid to rest after his family waited in vain for over a year for a state funeral.
