Ahead of the 21 September, 2024 governorship election in Edo State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed that 125,928 of the 184,438 newly printed Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) have been collected in the state. The National Commissioner and Chairman of Information and Voter Education Committee, Mr Sam Olumekun, made this disclosure in a statement issued on Tuesday, 27 August, 2024 in Abuja.
