By Abimbola Ogunnaike The World Bank has disclosed it disbursed a total sum of $45.5 million to Nigeria under the Identity for Development project by the country’s National Identity Management Commission (NIM). The World Bank, which made this disclosure in a recent implementation report, added that the project which kicked off in 2021 is aimed at increasing National Identification Number, NIN enrolment for Nigerians costs $430 million. The figure released so far is 10.5 percent of the total $430 million.
