A female suicide bomber on Saturday, 29 June, 2024, detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at a wedding venue in Gwoza town, Borno State. Unconfirmed number of guests have been reportedly killed, while many others suffered varying degrees of injuries in the incident.
