A 145 man committee has been set up to coordinate the wedding of President Buhari’s son, Yusuf and Emir of Bichi’s daughter,Zahra slated for 20 August, 2021.
The committee, set up by the Emir, Nasiru Ado Bayero, will also organise a schedule of the Emir’s coronation and the presentation of staff of office by Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
The Emirate issued a statement, signed by spokesperson Lurwan Malikawa, a timetable was already out.
According to the timetable, the wedding of the princess to the president’s son will hold on August 20, and the coronation follows a day after on August 21 at the Emir’s palace.
The statement also revealed that the committee inaugurated will be headed by the District Head of Bagwai who is also the Madakin Bichi Alhaji Nura Ahmad and Falakin Bichi Alhaji Abba Waziri will head that of the coronation.
