Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola was listed among the list of recipients for the 2023 Special National Honours released by the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, reports thegazellenews.com.
The two-term former Governor of Osun State will be conferred with the award of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
Also to be honoured with CON is the Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Mr Sunday Dare.
Also to be conferred with CON is Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Office of the Vice President, Senator Babafemi Ojudu.
On the list of recipients signed by Ibiene P. Roberts, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, are the trio of Spokesman for the President-elect, Mr Bayo Onanuga; the Special Adviser to the President-elect, Mr Dele Alake and the Managing Director of the Nation newspapers, Mr Victor Ifijieh.
They are all to receive the national honour of the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
