The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON has held a unique Christmas luncheon with children at the State House in Abuja.
The Christmas Luncheon with the theme, ‘The Christmas Story’, had the First lady reading a Christmas story she wrote and put in a booklet for the children aged between 7 and 16 years.
“When Jesus came, His mission is to redeem mankind from sin committed by Adam.
“We understand better why Jesus came into the world as it is written in Romans 5:15, “But there is a great difference between Adams sin and Gods gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ (NLT),” the First Lady said.
She said the Yuletide is a season to give just as God gave mankind the gift of Christ. She admonished the children to learn to share whatever they have, no matter how little.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu in an interview expressed optimism that with all the measures put in place by the President of the country, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the nation will witness a glorious 2024.
The First Lady appealed to all Nigerians to continue to pray for the good of the Nation knowing that God will restore Nigeria fully.
The children from the orphanage were treated to royalty and according to the First Lady, it is to prepare them for a glorious future ahead of them.
This is the first Children’s Christmas gathering held by the First Lady, which she promised that subsequent ones will come with more fun and a bigger Christmas Story book with lots of pictures and illustration.
