The Minister of Interior and former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has been described as a symbol of courage and selfless service to the masses.
One of Chairmanship aspirants in Agege Local Government on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nurudeen Bukola Sofidiya aka Gidado stated this in a press statement issued to congratulate the Minister on his 64th birthday celebration on Tuesday, 25 May, 2021.
Accoridng to Sofidiya, Aregbesola has uncanny courage and selfless attitude in his quest for the emancipation of the common man.
“His courageous quest to retrieve his mandate even in the face of dangerous adversaries after his life and the selfless service he rendered are key confirmation of the kind of man he is,” he said.
Sofidiya said that Aregbesola’s struggle for political emancipation of the people serves as inspiration for younger politicians like him.
“He is a role model and mentor and I’m very proud to be associated with him. Happy birthday our dear Symbol,” he said.
