The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SSAP SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire has described the Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty Rilwan Akiolu as a traditional ruler whose rule has brought progress and growth to Lagos State.
Princess Orelope-Adefulire described
the highly revered monarch as not only a first class traditional ruler in Lagos but also a highly respected and revered king in Nigeria.
The SSAP SDGs stated this on Sunday, 29 October, 2023, via a press statement felicitating with Oba Akiolu on his 80th birthday celebration.
“Kaabiyesi, you’ve led us with grace and wisdom and today your role has brought peace, growth and development to our dear state.
“You’re not only a first class traditional ruler in Lagos, you’re in the forefront of revered Monarchs in Nigeria,” she said.
The Presidential Aide also described Oba Akiolu as a man who is in the forefront of the promotion for good governance and rule of law.
“As you clock 80 today, I wish you a fulfilled celebration and pray that Almighty God continues to give you good health and wisdom from which Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole will continue to benefit,” the SSAP SDGs said.
