For her immense support on youth educational attainment, empowerment and upliftment, Dr. (Ambassador) Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, Chairman and CEO, Haleems Integrated Services Ltd, was on Friday, 10 September, 2021, honoured as the ECOWAS YOUTH AMBASSADOR at the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity by the West Africa Youth Council at Ikeja, Lagos.
The award certificate and an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador Vehicle Plate Number was presented by Mr Seun Williams, President of the Youth Council, at the glamorous event.
A thorough professional in dredging and construction, Chancellor of Espam Formation University, Benin Republic, Executive Director of Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation and SDG Advocate who has been an orator in high profile events like the Future Leader Model United Nation, Istanbul and Arab Model United Nation, Dubai, Halimat Adenike Tejuoso knows exactly what it takes to be recognized with an Ambassadorial award.
She expressed her gratitude for the award noting that all nominees for the award are potential winners.
Speaking at the event, Tejuoso was nostalgic taken those present to her past struggles and challenges she had faced in life all of which had strengthened her and made her a better person in life.
As someone who is driven by objectives to achieve set goals of human development particularly the youths, she stated that the award will encourage her and serve as tonic for her to do more in empowering people with special focus on youths.
