Four people have died from a gas explosion that occurred in Lagos on Tuesday, 16 November, 2021, reports The Gazelle News.com.
According to a statement by Mrs Margaret Adeseye, Director, Lagos State Fire Service, the incident took place at 21, Ojekunle Street, Ladipo, Mushin Lagos.
The gas explosion was reported at 08:42 hours Tuesday morning, 16 November, 2021 via the state emergency reporting platform and has been swiftly responded to by a combination of the state first and secondary responders.
“On arrival at the scene, it was discovered that it is an open space used for several activities including a beer parlour, mechanic workshop, spare parts sale and gas shop amongst others while housing a makeshift structure,” the statement said.
