A Commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), armed wing of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Emeoyiri Uzoma Benjamin has confessed that the IPOB Supreme Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, ordered members of the group to kill 2000 people to avenge the death of the top Commander of ESN, Ikonso, who was killed by security agents.
Benjamin, known and called Onye Army in the IPOB-ESN fold, stated this while speaking to the Vanguard newspaper in an interview after his arrest by the Force Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
According to him, after the death of Ikonso, “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu directed us to bury Ikonso with 2000 human heads but we’ve been able to kill 30 so far”.
Onye Army revealed further that heads of 10 young girls were used in preparing charms for them so that bullets will not penetrate their bodies.
He confessed that he was part of the team that attacked Owerri Correctional Centre and the country home of Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma.
