Famous Nollywood actress and renowned Movie Director, Funke Akindele has said that she was overwhelmed as her latest movie, ‘Battle on Buka Street’ bags 10 nominations at the 2023 AMVCA.
Taking to her Instagram page to express her joy, the talented Nollywood actress cum politician shared the exciting good news with her fans.
She revealed that her movie, “Battle on the Bukka Street,” had received an incredible 10 nominations for the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), while her other project, “Ammie Siblings and I,” received one nomination.
The 45-year-old actress expressed gratitude to God and for the recognition from AMVCA, thanking the organizers for the nominations. She also expressed appreciation to her fans for their unwavering support, which has been a big role to her success.
The producer also took the opportunity to congratulate her cast and crew members, saying that the nominations were a collective effort.
She acknowledged their hard work and dedication to their craft, which has contributed significantly to the movie’s success.
Funke also urged her fans to vote for her movies, expressing her confidence that they would bring home the awards by the grace of God.
