Veteran Actor , Dejumo Lewis who played the role of King (Oloja of Oja) in the popular television series, Village Headmaster, is dead.
The news of the demise of the actor made the rounds in the morning of Saturday, 23 December, 2023.
The new was also confirmed by Actor Saheed Balogun who wrote, “Good night DEJUMO LEWIS, may your soul rest in perfect peace. RIP.” on his social media page
Lewis is a Nigerian film and television actor, famous for the Kabiyesi role he played in The Village Headmaster, Nigeria’s longest-running television soap opera shown on NTA from 1968 to 1988. The soap opera also starred the likes of: Funsho Adeolu, JAB Adu, Ibidun Allison, Justus Esiri and Femi Robinson and many others.
Lewis is also known for his memorable performances in acclaimed films such as “A Place in the Stars” (2014), “Crossroads” (2020), and “Power of 1” (2018),
