The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Wasiu Eshilokun-Sanni, has called on the electorate Lagos State, particularly in Apapa Federal Constituency, to see the Presidential Candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a great opportunity for the State.
He reminded all about Asiwaju Tinubu’s support for every political office holder in the state since 1999. He therefore saw the coming elections as a pay back time for the APC Presidential Candidate. He assured the audience that a vote for Tinubu is a vote for opportunities for Lagos, especially in terms of employment of unemployed youths.
The APC Lagos Central Senatorial Candidate spoke in Apapa, on Monday, 9 January, 2023, when the party in Apapa held a General Assembly. The event took place at the Astro turf grounds, Apapa, and was organised to canvass for votes for APC candidates from the area, the Senatorial Candidate for the Central District, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The event, jointly organised by the Chairmen of Apapa Local Government and Apapa Iganmu Local Council Development Area, was graced by eminent APC leaders in Apapa, led by Hon. Tunde Balogun, former state Chairman of the party and member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).
The contestants present were: Rt. Hon. Eshilokun, Candidate for Lagos Central Senatorial District; Dr Samuel Adedayo, Candidate for House of Representatives for Apapa Federal Constituency; Hon. Lasbat Moji Miranda, Candidate for Apapa State Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly; and Hon. Musbau Aina Lawal, Candidate for Apapa State Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Speaker after speaker called on everyone present to mobilise their family and friends to collect their PVCs; and ensure to convince at least five persons from their neighbourhood to vote for all APC candidates.
They also called for unflinching support for Governor Sanwoolu and his deputy, whom they all agreed have done wonderfully well for the State.
