The Agege Sports Club concluded her Annual Retreat on Saturday, 14 October, 2023 where new Executive Council members to pilot the affairs of the club for the next two years were inaugurated. The two-day retreat commenced on Friday, 13 October and ended on Saturday, 14 October, 2023.
The Retreat, hosted by Hon. Dr. Oluyinka Ogundimu at his expansive and serene YBII Farms Resort, Kobape, Abeokuta, is an annual getaway for members to bond, relax and refresh.
The newly inaugurated Exco members are: Stanley Adiele, President; Jamiu Ajiboye, Vice President; Oluseyi George, General Secretary; Collins Aladesanmi, Assistant General Secretary; Tajudeen Tijani, Financial Secretary; Remi Aboderin, Public Relations Officer; Rasheed Ajayi, Treasurer; Felix Arauwou, Chief Whip; Kayode Alabi, Social Secretary; and Shola Fetuga, Welfare Secretary.
Highlights of the event included the gala dinner/induction of new members and the key note address by Dr. L.T. Lawal, former Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Primary Health Care Board and Special Adviser on Health to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Agege Sports Club is a family-friendly multi-sports club devoted to promoting health and wellness through the provision of opportunities for people to engage in Sports and physical activities and encourage members to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle.
