A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Alhaji Yaya Dosunmu has affirmed that Rt. Hon Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni is the most qualified candidate to represent Lagos Central Senatorial District in Red Chamber among those among the contestants struggling for the office.
Alhaji Dosunmu, who was once a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, former Chairman of the old Eti Osa LGA and former Treasurer of the Alliance for Democracy in the state, stated this at WES’ engagement with strategic stakeholders at Shangotedo on Friday, 27 January, 2023.
The octogenarian stated that Rt. Hon. Eshilokun, APC Candidate for the Senatorial District, possesses the most outstanding educational qualification, the best legislative experience and the most admired leadership qualities among his peers running for the position. He therefore urged the electorate in Eti Osa and indeed all of Lagos Central Senatorial District to massively vote for Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni on Saturday, 25 February, 2023.
In the same vein, a leader of the party in Eti Osa, Alhaji Raimi Ali, while seeking massive support of party men and other electorate for the candidate, admonished them not to lay too much emphasis on material gains, but to show to WES that they truly love and support him. He asked all party men to report at the party secretariat on Friday, 3rd February with, at least, 5 persons who have PVCs.
In his response, Rt. Hon. Eshilokun expressed his appreciation to them for supporting his candidature urging them to convince their family, friends and neighbours to collect their PVCs and massively vote for him and all APC candidates from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu through Governor Sanwoolu to Hons Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro and Noheem Adam.
At the event, held at APC party secretariat at Shangotedo, to canvass support for WES, was Alhaji A.G.O. Sodiq, an Apex leader in Lagos Island and the Chairman of WES Campaign Council, who introduced and spoke eloquently about the achievements of the candidate.
Members of the campaign council were also on hand to support their Principal.
