The free medical outreach initiated by Rt Honourable James Abiodun Faleke had commenced at the Kabba Specialist Hospital, Kabba, Kogi State, reports thegazellenews.com.
It would run between Monday, 18 November, to Thursday, 21 November, 2024
The outreach is organized in conjunction with Doctors on the Move Africa and facilitated by the Rt. Hon.(Dr) James Abiodun Faleke, Chairman of the Federal House of Assembly Committee on Finance.
The outreach programme aims to provide comprehensive medical services at no cost to all residents of Kabba in the Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.
The event also seeks to offer essential healthcare services to vulnerable populations, addressing their medical needs and improving overall community health.
Key services to be provided during the outreach programme will among others include: General medical consultations, health screenings and assessments, immunizations and vaccinations, maternal and child health services, chronic disease management and health education and awareness programs
“We recognize the critical need for accessible healthcare in our communities, and this outreach is our way of giving back and supporting our people,” said Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.

On ground for the outreach is a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and volunteers, who are committed to delivering high-quality medical care under the leadership of Doctor Joseph Kigbu as the team leader
