Residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency expressed joy and delight as a three-day free medical outreach initiated by their representative in the House of Representatives, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke starts on Friday, 25 October, 2024.
Tagged ‘Balancing Wealth on Health’, the three-day programme kick off on Friday, 25 October, 2024 in front of the palace of the traditional ruler of Onigbongbo for residents of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area.
The free medical train moves to the frontage of Ikeja Central Mosque, Isale Awori, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja on Saturday, 26 October, 2024 for residents of Ikeja Local Government.
The medical train moves and finally berths at the frontage of the palace of Aguda monarch, Kokumo Street, Aguda on Sunday, 27 October, 2024.
Residents are expected to undergo medical checks for the following diseases: Dental check, cleaning, whitening, and extraction; malaria test and medication; diabetes test and medication;;H-Pylori (ulcer) test and medication; ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) check and medication; typhoid test and medication; Hepatitis B test and counseling; and Arthritis check, medication, and physiotherapy (massage)
Some residents who spoke with our correspondent commended Faleke for his sterling representation since going to the Green Chamber.
“He has been representing us well and that’s why we will continue to give him our mandate,” Mrs Clara Ugochukwu told thegazellenews.com
Another resident, Adebola Adesina described Faleke as God-sent to the people of Ikeja Federal Constituency. “Few days ago, he distributed food items to over 10,000 residents and this is apart from attracting infrastructure to the Constituency, many roads have been tarred based on his intervention. He’s God-sent to us,” she said.
