The Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Dr Muheebah Dankaka was never arrested by the police, this medium can revealed.
An online medium had reported on Thursday that the FCC boss was arrested by the police.
Fact checks on the report revealed that Dr Dankaka was never arrested by the police.
This medium check at the FCC headquarters revealed that the Commission boss was at her desk performing her official duties.
“I saw her in office and she was in office on Thursday, I can confirm that,” a staff of the Commission told our correspondent.
This medium can also revealed that Dr Dankaka has no issue with her academic records.
She had her education in Nigeria and there has never been any controversy about that.
“Dr Dankaka was educated at Ahmadu Bello University and Bayero University for her first and second degrees, there are no controversies about this. Writing that she was arrested over certificate forgery is nonsensical, there are no controversies about her education,” source told our correspondent.
Check by our correspondent at both ABU and BUK confirmed that indeed Dr Dankaka graduated from both institutions for her first and second degrees respectively.
On the ‘Fareedah’ name being used against her, our correspondent’s investigation revealed that ‘Fareedah’ is her business name.
“It those who are afraid of her rising profile who are behind all these campaigns of calumny against the woman.
“Thank God the woman is doing her job effectively and contributing positively to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President.
“There’s no doubt it. Dr Dankaka has uplift the standard of the Commission since her assumption of office. Even the staff and Commissioners except the disgruntled ones have confirmed this,” our correspondent learnt.
