No fewer than seven terrorists belonging to the Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP, have been killed in an explosion.
The development occurred while the terrorists were attempting to prepare improvised explosive devices, IEDs.
A Lake Chad Basin counterterrorism and insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, made this disclosure in a post on his X handle on Tuesday, 31 December, 2024.
Makama said that impeccable sources confirmed to him that the incident occurred on 30 December, 2024, in a locality between Ba’anfani and Koleram in the far Lake Chad Basin of Borno state.
