A Deputy Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service is dead, reports thegazellenews.com.
Essien Etop Andrew, Deputy Comptroller General of Customs in charge of Finance Administration and Technical Service slumped and later died on Tuesday, 25 June, 2024 at the National Assembly hospital in Abuja.
Thegazellenews.com learnt that the senior customs officer was answering questions from members of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts when he coughed and slumped.
Andrew was rushed to the National Assembly clinic where he was confirmed dead by doctors on duty, thegazellenews.com learnt
