The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshilokun-Sanni, has described the death of Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, Chief Ademola Seriki as a collosal loss to the Nigeria, Lagos State in general and the Progressives and his immediate family.
While reacting to the death of the former Minister of State for Defence, Rt Hon Eshilokun-Sanni described the deceased as a committed member of the APC and a believer in the Progressives ideals.
“He was a loving father to his children and a family man to the core. He loved and related with people in friendly and cordial manner,” he said.
The Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly condoled President Muhammadu Buhari under whom he served as Ambassador to Spain until his death.
He also condoled with the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC); and his immediate family members.
“His death coming at this crucial time is a collosal loss to all of us but who are we to query Almighty Allah. He knows the best and He believes the time of Demola Seriki has come, we can’t query Him.
“I pray that Almighty Allah gives all of us, particularly his family members and the Progressives family to bear the huge loss,” he said.
