The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke, has described the death of Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, Chief Ademola Seriki, as a monumental loss not only to his family members but also to Nigeria, Lagos State and the party at large.
Faleke, member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, described the late Seriki as a committed party man who was loyal to the cause of the Progressives until his death.
These were contained in a condolence message issued on his behalf and that of his family, released on Thursday, 15 December, 2022.
“He was a committed Progressive who was loyal to its cause until he breathed his last. He served Nigeria till his last breath. Indeed, his death is a monumental loss to all of us in the Progressives family, and the Nigerian nation at large,” the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance said.
“On behalf of my family, I commiserate with his immediate family members, President Muhammadu Buhari under whom he served as Ambassador until his death; our leader and Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; and the Governor’s Advisory Council.
“I pray that Almighty Allah gives all of us, particularly his family members, the fortitude to bear this huge loss.
“I also pray that Almighty Allah gives eternal rest and grants him al-Jannah Firdaous,” the former Chairman of Conference 57, umbrella organisation of local councils in Lagos State, said.
