Gunmen have killed Jacob Agada, a retired immigration officer on night of Thursday, 6 April, 2023 at Ombi 2, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The source claimed the late retired immigration officer was returning to his house about 9pm when the hoodlums abducted him and his lifeless body was later discovered in the area.
The source, who expressed sadness over the incident, said Agada was jumped at and taken away by the hoodlums who were hiding not far from his gate.
Agada lived just beside a popular hotel in the area, he added.
Alleging a spike in the spate of insecurity in the Ombi II, Danka, and Kwandare axis of the state recently, the source called for prayers to end the challenge.
The Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident, saying police are on the trail of Agada’s killer.
