Operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command from the Angwan Lambu Division have arrested a woman, Khadija Umar, also known as “Naira,” along with two of her biological children, over alleged series of housebreaking and theft incidents.
According to a press release by the Nasarawa State Police Command, Khadija Umar orchestrated the criminal activities by scouting targeted areas and monitoring residents.
Once the coast was clear, she allegedly enlisted the help of her two sons and two other suspects, who are currently at large, to carry out the thefts.
During the operation, the police recovered several stolen items from the suspects, including two television sets, two 6×6 mattresses, a gas cooker, a 12kg cylinder, a standing fan, a GoTV decoder, cooking pots, an electric jug, a refrigerator, and solar panels.
