Operatives of the JIgawa State Police Command have arrested a 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda for allegedly conspiring with her ex-lover to kill her husband, Kamisu Haruna.
Jigawas State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident in a statement issued to newsmen.
“The police received report that a 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda, from Bagata Gabas village, Kiyawa LGA, has been accused of conspiring with her ex-lover, Lawan Musa, 22, to poison her husband, Kamisu Haruna, 29, ”Shiisu said , adding that police investigation revealed that Zahra’u poisoned her husband’s food, which he shared with two friends.
