A delegation of the Independent Campaign Council (ICC) Directorate of Professional Women, on Tuesday, 17 January, 2023, paid a courtesy visit to the Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Engineer Aramide Adeyoye in her office.
Led by the Director of the Directorate, Engineer Atinuke Wuraola Owolabi, other members of the delegation were: Engineer Mosope Adewuyi and Yinka Kenny, a broadcast journalist.
During the visit, Engr. Aramide said the forthcoming election is not business as usual noting that the dynamics have changed. She encouraged the elite to set standards, while doing things in a way that represents transparency and professionalism.
She also said that the professionals have the responsibility to perform their civic right so as to elect people with competence, capacity and character to man the affairs of the nation.
She commended the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo Olu for taking a cue from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in talent hunting and looking out for the best hands to do the job while giving them the freedom to do it.
Engr. Aramide will be the Guest Speaker at Zoom Meeting that will hold on Saturday, 21 January, 2023 at 7:30pm organized by the ICC, Directorate of Professional Women with the theme, ‘A one-hour interactive session with Professionals on implementation of strategies and tactics to give #RenewedHope to Nigeria and #a Greater Lagos rising’.
