The Chairman of Alimoso Local Government Area, Honourable Jelili Sulaiman has assured youths in the local government of his commitment to meet their demands, reports thegazellenews.com
Sulaiman spoke on Thursday, 17 October, 2024 during a stakeholders meeting held at the council secretariat in Alimoso.
“By the special grace of God, I have looked through your demands listed here and I can assure you that they are all implementable. By the grace of God, we will work towards meeting your demands,” he assured the youths who were all impressed with interaction with the Council Chairman.
Sulaiman told the gathering that his administration is ready to partner with stakeholders to ensure that all the demands of the youths are met.
To underscore this, the Alimoso LG Boss told the youths to register their names according to their needs.
“We are now opening registers for you all according to your needs. Needs are different: some need vocational training, some need employment, others want to trade while some even want to go to the military. Make sure you register your name where you belong and we will take it from there,” Sulaiman said
He also assured participants at the Forum that by next meeting, some of their demands may have been met.
Highlight of the meeting was the donation of N500,000 by the chairman to a woman seeking funds for her medical treatment
