Belgian Pro League outfit, Standard Liege, is said to be closing in on the signing of Flying Eagles striker, Emmanuel Umeh.
According to Standard Liege will pay Bulgarian club, Botev Plodiv €2 million for the player, reports.
Another Belgian club, Anderlecht and a French side, Girondis Bordeaux were also keen on signing the forward.
The 18-year-old, who has now settled for a move to Standard Liege, featured for the Flying Eagles at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup hosted by Argentina.
Umeh scored once in 14 league appearances for Botev Plodiv last season.
