Fourty nine new cases of coronavirus have been reported, The Gazelle News.com can report.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed the news on its verified twitter handle on Saturday, 18 April, 2020 at 10.40pm.
Of the 49 new cases, 23 are in Lagos, 12 in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, 10 in Kano, two in Ogun and one each in Oyo and Ekiti States.
The Gazelle News.com reports further that the total number of coronavirus in Nigeria rises to 542.
Lagos remains the epicentre accounting for about 60 percent of the total with 306 cases, followed by FCT with 81 cases and Kano with 37 cases.
