The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the Governorship Election in Kwara, Ogun and Jigawa States, reports thegazellenews.com
In Kwara, incumbent Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq was declared the winner of the election in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He polled a total of 273,424 to beat his closest, Yaman Abdullahi of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 155,490.
In Ogun State, incumbent Dapo Abiodun of APC was declared winner of the election. He polled 276,298 votes to beat his closest rival Ladi Adebutu of PDP who polled 262,383 votes.
In Jigawa State, APC also won. Its candidate, Umar Namadi was declared winner of the election by INEC
In Akwa Ibom State, PDP won when his candidate, Umo Eno polled more than 324,000 to beat his rival from the APC who polled 129,202.
