Miss Abisola Olusanya has been confirmed as the substantive Commissioner of Agriculture in Lagos State, reports The Gazelle News.com.
Bisola, daughter of the the Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Lagos East Senatorial District, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya. Incidentally, Asipa was also Commissioner for Agriculture under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Bisola was sworn-in last year as Special Adviser on Agriculture to the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. However she took over the running of the ministry in acting capacity in June, 2020 when then substantive Commissioner, Gbolahan Lawal was named and crowned the Oniru of Iru land.
Bisola’s confirmation was contained in a circular dated Tuesday, 10 November, 2020 issued by the state Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
