Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni, has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Lagos Central Senatorial District, reports thegazellenews.com.
At the primary election conducted on Saturday, 28 May, 2022, Eshinlokun-Sanni scored 185 delegate votes to beat his closest rival, Ambassador of Nigeria to Spain, Ademola Seriki who could only muster 97 delegate votes. Hakeem Apatira came a distant third taking 22 delegate votes.
The exercise, free and fair, devoid of rancour took place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
