Lagos recorded the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases with 70 new cases reported on Sunday, 19 April, 2020, The Gazelle News.com reports.
Also, the virus makes entry into Borno and Jigawa States as new cases were reported in the two states.
Eighty six new were reported by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its verified twitter handle as at 11.50pm on Sunday, 19 April, 2020.
The total number has now risen to 627 cases in Nigeria.
Out of these 86, Lagos has 70, FCT has seven, three in Katsina, one each in Jigawa, Bauchi and Borno states.
Lagos continues to remain the epicentre with its figure rising to 376, followed by FCT which 88, Kano now has 36 and Osun 20.
