The Minister of Youth and Sports Development Sunday Dare on Wednesday, 8 April, 2020, began the distribution of relief packs to citizens of Oyo state through the local government areas in Ibadan and parts of Oyo town.
Over 4,000 relief packs were distributed to residents on a non-partisan basis. The packs contained semovita, Indomie noddles and Vitamin C drink packs.
Under the Support Oyo Campaign (SOC) initiative conceived by the Minister, the relief packs will be on a continuous basis during this period. Earlier, similar distribution had taken place in Ogbomoso, ibadan and Awe where sanitizers, semovita and salt were given out.

Agents were seen going from one house to another to distribute the relief packs in different local government areas in the state.
Some beneficiaries who spoke with The Gazelle News.com some of the appreciated the kind gesture of the Minister and urged other well meaning people in society to emulate him.
