Billionaire business man, Dr Deji Adeleke has donated N500 million to tackle the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the country, The Gazelle News.com reports.
This was revealed on Tuesday, 31 March, 2020 by the billionaire’s son and popular musician, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido on his Instagram page.
According to Davido, the news was contained in a statement issued by Dr (Mrs) Dupe Adeleke.
The Gazelle News.com learnt further that apart from the cash donation, Dr Adeleke is also giving out N250 million worth of rice and beans to be distributed among residents of the state.
A total of 6,640 50kg bags of rice and 996 bags of beans worth N250 million would be distributed across the 332 wards in Osun State.
According to the statement, each of the 332 wards will get 20 bags of 50kg rice and three bags of beans which will be distributed among the residents irrespective of their political affiliations and religions.
