When it rains, it pours. This sweetly describes the double recognition received by Ebi Egbe, the Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria and Africa’s foremost sports facility construction company, Monimitchelle Limited.
Ebi Egbe would be decorated with a chieftaincy title as the Otototo-Eken of Yenebebeli Community of Atissa Kingdom in Yenagoa local government area of Bayelsa State by His Royal Highness, Chief Alfred Ovuoh, the Ebeneken Yenebebeli, on July 30, 2023.
According to HRH, Alfred Ovuoh, “It’s a recognition for selfless service towards the development and growth of our communities and the nation.”
And coming fastly on the heels of his chieftaincy title, is the award from Bayelsa State Chapter of Nigeria Union of Journalists (National Industrial/Professional Union), who are recognising the renowned philanthropist and leading sports facility expert as, ‘Best Sports Development Partner, at its Press Week scheduled to hold August 26, 2023, at the NUJ, Press Centre, Yenagoa.
Responding to the awards, Egbe said, “We want to specially thank HRH, Alfred Ovuoh for this important recognition and Chieftaincy title. On behalf of myself, family and associates, I say thank you to HRH and the Yenebebeli Community. We shall continue to contribute our best at all times, to the development of our nation.”
Speaking further, he thanked the Nigeria Union of Journalists and National Industrial/Professional Union, for the special recognition. Stating that the honour would only further spur him into doing more for the development of sports in the State and Nigeria
