In recognition of his proven integrity, track record of success and achievements, the Olu of Araromi Eleranigbe town, Oba (Dr) Hameed Adejoro Ajijola has been bestowed with the prestigious leadership award.
The award was recently bestowed on him by Fight Corruption Organization – a non-governmental organization rooting for anti-corruption and good governance at a ceremony held on Wednesday, 24 August, 2023 at Ogudu, Lagos.
While presenting the award, the Executive Director of the organization, Bishop Francis Shopekan remarked that Oba Ajijola’s innovation and transformation brought to bare on Eleranigbe community and it’s citizens since he mounted the throne have impacted positively and thus made him worthy of the award.
Continuing, Bishop Shopekan added: “Your immense contribution to the general development of Lagos State and Eleranigbe town as well as your leadership skill have distinguish you over the years and therefore your track record of success and achievements cannot be over-emphasized.
“Your proven integrity, credibility, discipline, efficiency, compassionate acts, selfless efforts to humanity and love of God have made it compelling for you to be honoured with the Prestigious Leadership Award.”
A visibly elated Eleranigbe monarch expressed his delight over the award and thank the organizers for recognizing his modest contribution to the socio-economic development of his community adding that the award serves as a morale-booster for him to do more.
The Prestigious Leadership Award is coming on the heels of a multiple recognition earlier accorded the Eleranigbe monarch. It wouldd be recalled the Ibeju-born Chartered Economist was on Saturday, 7 May, 2022 awarded with a Doctorate degree in Leadership and Business Administration by the Swiss Management Institute, Switzerland.
The award which was held at De Remembrandt Hotel, Lagos also saw the then Ibeju crown prince being conferred with a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Leadership Manpower and Management Development by the Switzerland-based institute.
To make it a night of multiple honours, the
Executive Director/CEO at Hobs -COF Health Systems Limited and MD/CEO at Dependable Health Services Limited, a Health Management Organisation also mounted the podium for the third time to receive the Life-time Achievement Award of the Institute of Leadership Manpower and Management Development.
The awards are the highest professional and national recognition in the institute bestowed on a few personalities—whose corporate track records, research works and noticeable contributions to society deserves a mention, a reading and a grandeur recognition.
