The Senator-elect for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshilokun-Sanni has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Deputy, Senator Kashim Shettima for their victory at the just concluded Presidential Election.
Rt Hon Eshilokun-Sanni stated this in a statement from his Media Office released on Wednesday, 1 March, 2023.
“It’s a well deserved victory for Asiwaju and his Vice in particular and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in general. Asiwaju was consistent in his Renewed Hope manifesto and he is the only candidate that campaigned the most among the Presidential Candidates,” he said.
Rt Hon Eshilokun-Sanni stated further that the spread of Tinubu’s victory across the geo-political zones of Nigeria was a clear confirmation of his pan-Nigeria acceptance. “Look at the spread of his victory and you will realize that he’s the most accepted across Nigeria. He and the party deserve this victory, because they worked hard for it,” he said.
While expressing appreciation to Lagosians in particular and Nigerians in general for voting for APC candidates in the last Presidential and National Assembly Elections, Rt Hon Eshilokun-Sanni urged Lagosians to troop out on Saturday, 11 March, 2023, and vote massively for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr Kadir Obafemi Hamzat; and other candidates of the party in the Governorship and state Assembly elections.
“Governor Sanwo-Olu has performed creditably and I want to urge Lagosians to vote for continuation of excellence,” he said
Rt Hon Eshilokun-Sanni said that the APC Administration in the state has taken the state to greater heights hence it needs the support of the people to continue its good work.
