The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni has condoled with the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, Tayo Ayinde over the death of his wife.
Mrs Raliat Adedoyin Ayinde nee Ojora’s death was announced by the family on Sunday, 13 November, 2022. She died after a brief illness at the age of 36.
Rt Hon Eshinlokun-Sanni, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, described the death of Mrs Ayinde as “devastating and sad”.
“She was a good mother to her children and a caring wife for her husband. When I learnt of her death, I was not only devastated and shocked, I was also sad.
“Although she died at such a young age, there is nothing we can do as Almighty God knows why this has to happen at this point in time.
“I want to urge my brother, Tayo Ayinde, to take heart. I pray that Almighty God gives the entire families the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
“I also pray that Almighty Allah accepts her soul, grants her eternal rest and grants her al-Jannah Firdaous,” Eshinlokun-Sanni said.
