The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni has described the death of former State and Southwest Women Leader of the party, Chief Kemi Nelson as a huge loss to the party, Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
According to him, the deceased Yeyesewa of Lagos was a committed and loyal party member, a woman of substance and avowed Tinubuist.
“Her death is huge one for us in the Progressives family and one we did not need at this moment. But we can’t query God, it’s God’s will that she should return to Him at this particular time we need her most,” he said.
Rt Hon Eshinlokun-Sanni condoled with the leadership of the state chapter of the party saying the party has definitely lost a committed and loyal member.
“I also want to commiserate with the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, for the loss of such a highly dependable Lagosian,” he said.
He stated further that, “I also want to condole with our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) and the Nelson family in particular”.
