This initiative is vital in our ongoing efforts to combat domestic violence and support survivors in our communities. By designating a month for the awareness and enlightenment, we are not only highlighting the severity of this issue but also encouraging open conversations and education, including the sourcing of resources for those affected.
Mr Governor’s leadership in this endeavour demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering a safer environment for all individuals regardless of sex. It sends a strong signal that our state, being the centre of excellence, stands firmly against domestic and sexual violence, and is dedicated to supporting survivors and their families.
Together we can achieve zero tolerance for domestic and sexual violence.
Congratulations to us all. Moyo fun e, moyo fun ra mi.
