Members of the highest political decision making body in Lagos State, the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, 28 March, 2024, thegazellenews.com can exclusively reports.
This medium learnt exclusively that members were led to the meeting by the GAC Chairman, Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi.
Sources from the meeting told thegazellenews.com that the members first broke their fast with the President after which they retired for a meeting behind closed door devoid of the usual media report attached to such breaking of fast programme.
Our correspondent learnt that virtually all members of GAC were in attendance except those on assignment.
Thegazellenews.com learnt that only former Head of Service in Lagos State, Chief Akinsanya Sonny Ajose; former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Princess Sarah Adebisi Sosan, who was on national assignment; Omoba Murphy Adetoro; Senator Tokunbo Abiru; and Dr Yomi Finnih were not present at the meeting.
The meeting ended early Friday morning, 29 March, 2024.
Though details of the meeting were not divulged at the moment, thegazellenews.com learnt that it might not be unconnected with unfolding political drama in Lagos with struggle for control by the two major political groups: the Justice Forum and the Mandate Group.
