The member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke, has commended the free and fair manner members of the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) elected executive members for the party in the state during the Congress on Saturday, 16 October, 2021.
In an exclusive chat with The Gazelle News.com, Faleke, Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, said that the free and fair Congress was a demonstration of the internal democracy existing in the party in the state.
“I am impressed with the rancoruos-free Congress we had. It was an indication of the party’s internal democracy on display. We have proved to the whole world that we are lovers of democracy and we play by the rules,” the former Chairman of Conference 57, umbrella organisation for council Chairmen in the state, said.
Faleke, also sized the opportunity to congratulate the Chairman-elect for the party in the state, Pastor Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi describing as the round peg in the round hole.
“He’s a loyal and committed party man, an experienced politician and a grassroots mobilizer who has distinguished himself creditably in all assignments given to him. I’ve no doubt that he will take the party to greater heights,” Faleke, who incidentally moved the motion for the adoption of Ojelabi as Chairman, said.
