The Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), Hon Wahab Alawiye-King has assured the Lagos State Government through his agency is committed to taking primary education to greater heights in the state, The Gazelle News.com reports.
Alawiye-King, The Gazelle News.com reports, spoke during his meeting with BEQA officers at the state and the 20 Local Government Education Authority which took place at the Maryland secretariat of LASUBEB.
“The introduction of EKOEXCEL is a bold innovation of the Sanwo-Olu administration aimed at improving teaching and learning through effective digitalisation,” he said.
According to him, the BEQA officers were invited for the meeting to feel their pulse on the performance of government policies and the personnel.
“The aim of this meeting is for a productive interaction with you on how to improve on our programmes. We want to hear from you your assessment on our various intervention programmes, and how we can continue to improve on them,” the LASUBEB chairman said.
He urged the participants to their views objectively and honestly. “Our collective aim is to improve hence let’s be objective and honest in our assessment and observations,” he said.
