The Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State, Hon Wale Adedayo has assured that the council area would fully be in total support of Dapo Abiodun led administration come 2023.
Adedayo made this known while fielding questions from journalists shortly after the successful conduct of the APC Local Government Congress held at the party’s secretariat in Ogbere, the local government headquarters.
The ruling APC on Saturday, 3 September, 2021 conducted its local government congresses across the country.
The council chairman acknowledged the peaceful conduct of the congress, he, however, charged all the newly elected party officers to be of good conduct and remain steadfastness for the progress of the ruling APC.
Adedayo remained optimistic that APC would win future elections in Ijebu East Local Government and Ogun State by extension, going by the laudable achievements of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
He further noted that his projects and cardinal programmes at the local government level will consolidate on the achievements of Dapo Abiodun led administration at the state.
The APC local government congress of Ijebu East Chapter had in attendance APC chieftains, party leaders across all the 11 wards in Ijebu East: Ogun APC Publicity Secretary, Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye; the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dr Kehinde Dare Sunday; the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Alhaji Waheed Odusile; and other appointees in the Gov Dapo Abiodun led administration.
