Eleven players have arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Morocco for friendly matches scheduled against Ghana and Mali.
The players already in camp are: Cyriel Dessers, Nathan Tella, Simon Moses, Stanley Nwabali, Fisayo Bashiru, Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi, Jamilu Collins, Bruno Onyemaechi and Sadiq Umar.
Those ruled out due to injury are: Victor Osimhen, Gabriel Osho, Tyrone Ebuehi and Taiwo Awoniyi.
Meanwhile, the Eagles would play under an interim coach after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) appointed Finidi George, former assistant to Jose Peseiro, to handle the games.
The Super Eagles are set to face Ghana at the Grand Stade de Marrakech on Friday, March 22.
After the Ghana fixture, the three-time African champions will take on Mali on Monday, March 25, at the same venue.
Both matches will be used to fine-tune the team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa, slated for June with the Super Eagles of Nigeria hoping to get their campaign back on track after recording two draws from their opening two games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
