There was jubilation in the Ekiti State Government House as it was confirmed that the state Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Dr Kayode Fayemi tested negative to the deadly Coronavirus.
The Gazelle News.com reports that the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) had earlier reported that the Governor had tested negative to the dreaded virus.
Our correspondent contacted close aides of the Governor and the Government House and it was confirmed that indeed the Governor had tested negative to the dreaded virus.
The Governor had earlier twitted that he was going into self isolation over his contact with Governor Bala Muhammad of Bauchi State and the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari who both tested positive to the virus.
