Doyin Okupe, Director General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign, has resigned.
His decision is to enable him pursue his corruption case in Court.
He conveyed his decision in a letter to his principal, the Presidential Candidate of the party, Mr. Peter Obi via a letter addressed to him.
Okupe said his decision to pursue his corruption case at the court would distract him from his duty as DG, hence he advised Obi to appoint another person with zero distraction for the job.
